Organizational capacity building and bridging finance to the Swaziland Conference of Churches (SCC)

SCC approached sahee with a request for organizational support and bridging finance of salaries. Sahee investigated the situation with in-depth interviews and developed, together with involved staff at SCC, a solution to overcome the current challenges.
SCC does very good grassroots-work and is a good partner of sahee (see Project A-0014) which justifies our support for this organization.
Together with SCC, sahee selected the Swaziland-based consultant, Aleta Armstrong. She brings serious commitment to this mandate and has vast expertise in leading non-profit as well as for-profit-organizations in Swaziland. For about half a year she will support and monitor SCC during this important phase. The focus of this evaluation will be to improve the structure and finances of SCC so they can grow to their full potential.

Project costs and assistance by sahee

The entire project costs are CHF 35’000.–, whereas sahee takes over CHF 19’500.–.

Payment of a part of the bridging finance and strengthening of capacities. Coordination and payment of an external monitoring process in close cooperation with involved staff of SCC and a local consultant. sahee pays an amount of CHF 19.500
